Minutes of 2-6-14

Present: C.T., Jim V, Bill, Nancy, Phil, Randy, Candace, Rick, Diane, Ray, Karen, John, George

Discussed trees near the front, re: the removal of the current trees and replacement of same with palm trees. The fence on Old Tamah was also discussed, specifically the condition of it and the lands in front of it.

Unkempt properties can be forced to clean up.

Many houses are currently violating the Covenants and By-Laws.

George will send Covenants to John.

Motion to make a cheat sheet for the Covenants to touch upon the more important or violated provisions was moved and seconded.

Discussed 405 Staffwood's Architectural Application. This was at first approved, but then declined by Jim V. The fence and the extension were discussed, and a diagram of this was passed around.

The Welcome Committee will start gathering items for the Welcome Baskets.

2014's version of the Newsletter will be assembled, published and distributed. The officers and committees should prepare to write something for the next Newsletter.

C.T. Bass was nominated for President by Jim Vicar and seconded by Nancy. Congratulations C.T.!

The other officers will repeat again. Wally Joch remains Vice-President, Nancy Lochner remains Treasurer and George Martin remains Secretary.

Candace Perrill, Diane Crook and Cheryl Wertz will be the Welcome Committee.

Ray Ammarell and Randy Perrill will serve as the Architectural Committee. Bill McDermott said he will also assist, and Erica Timmons has also expressed a desire to assist with that committee as well.

John Wertz will serve as Chairman of the Newsletter Committee and Karen Amerell will serve on that committee as well.

Phil Stabler will reprise his role as Landscape Committee Chairman. Rick Crook will serve on the Landscape Committee as well.

George Martin will continue to serve as the Website Chairman as well.

Bill suggested HOA letterhead, and envelopes clearly marked as such.

Covenants will be checked to see if there is still time to amend them.

President CT Bass closed the meeting.

Next meeting will be March 20th, time and place TBA.

ANNUAL MEETING 2014

1-23 Present were Nancy, Wally, Jim L, Phil S and about 18 others.

The following topics were discussed:

Management company
Adding a curb to the outbound lane
Tree redesign
Plea for new officers and committee members
Amending of by-laws
Opening for chairman of Architectural Committee
Nancy discussed the budget and reporting of our finances. The budget was moved, seconded and passed.
Only 2 houses currently in foreclosure

From the floor
Water is bubbling up at 28 Persimmon Wood, and the water under the street is washing out the street there. It was hoped that Nate Ballentine, Rick Beldon or Rep Courson could be of assistance.

Questions were asked about the county paving the streets. It was told that the DPW was going to do this a few years ago, but never did.

High schoolers parking in the road was brought up. Especially near Wicklow and Cashell.

The meeting was closed and seconded to close.
